Very powerful kit and the radio really puts out the tunes. Ive had coworkers buy this kit in the past and the radio cord was very cheap and fragile! It would usually break within a month,so i was pleased to see a thicker and stronger cord on mine. Fantastic set.In my opinion Makita makes the best cordless tools around.

This is a combo that is unmatched in the industry. The Saw is the most powerful compact Recip. saw with light and gets into tight spaces you could not access with any other tool on the market. The Drill is the most powerful available. Cons; Impact is kind of noisy but oh is it powerful. All compacts are noisy anyway. Good buy as I have seen these go for 500 on ebay. Hard to find. The Fuego saw is a benchmark of the industry and sought after by most contractors. If you want to be serious about your projects. This is the combo to get. I have tried almost them all.

The unit can be stored in the case fully assembled, or in varying stages of assembly. There is a small compartment with a door for the hook and magnet attachments. The charger is stored on its side in the case. It would be nice if it stored flat in the case so you wouldn't have to remove it for charging. Some of the Rigid Tool cases are set up this way and I find it to be efficient.The initial setup was fairly basic with easy to follow instructions. There are settings for date & time and display formats for each. Charging the battery took 30 minutes. This particular unit needs the grey stripe on the camera end to be on top, relative to the handle. While the image is still not square on the screen, it is better than the inverted image I got the first time I assembled it. There is a key shaped like a hexagon that prevents the cable from spinning on the mount. This key is not aligned accurately for the image to be completely square on the screen.The screen is a nice size for viewing. The resolution is high enough for the unit's intended use. I wouldn't try to watch a movie on it, although you could (without sound) from the micro SD card that is sold separately. It has 3 zoom levels: 1.5X, 2X, and 3X. I had a kit just like this awhile ago. I bought it brand new from Home Depot. About three weeks later I returned it because the drill burned up. Complete junk. Home Depot did take it back. It was under 30 days old. Ridgid plumbing tools are great. But the power tools that have nothing to do with drain cleaning are junk plain and simple. Go with Bosch in my opinion.

After searching high and low for the right kind of combo kit - this one is perfect. It doesn't come with an impact driver I'll probably never need, or a bunch of other random tools that would be useless. It does, however, have three very useful tools:Hammer drill: Compared to all those junk cordless drills I've used before, this is the single greatest tool ever. I've used it for everything from assembling Ikea furniture to drilling holes in a concrete slab for demolition in the backyard, and it has handled everything like a champ. It tears through wood, stone, and metal with ease, and the hammer function is invaluable when drilling through stone or concrete. I couldn't imagine going back to a less powerful tool. My one quibble - it's a bit large and heavy, so I did invest in a small cordless screwdriver for those simple jobs. However, I yearn for the power of my Hitachi whenever I use it, as it's just so weak!Reciprocating saw: I don't use it all day every day like others, but it seems to work great for me. This saw can withstand the rigors of a jobsite, as well as the do it yourselfers garage. its not as heavy as some corded saws and has a great deal of power. its not nearly as noisy as it corded counterpart. having used this saw all day every day for a week, i give it five stars based on a great performance. (plus i havent cut a cord all week)

This thing is light weight and powerful. You can use in awkward postions and the weight does not tire you out. It has a great form-fit for the hand -- mine isn't small or huge, and it's comfortable. The batteries do fully charge in 30 minutes, making them easy to rotate and get the job done. My wife loves it because even with her smaller hands, it's easy for her to use around the house.Torque selection and the keyless chuck operate smoothly and clearly indicate the easily adjustable settings. Finally, with a little practice the trigger is so responsive that you maintain real control over drill speed and avoid stripping screws or spintering wood. The LED light is bright enough to make quick work in less than optimal light conditions.If there are any flaws in the design or operation of this drill, I haven't found them. It's a great tool.

I love this drill. I use it frequently in small building projects around the house and building furniture. The batteries last long on a charge and don't fade out as the battery loses charge-- has full power to the end. Great product and I would definitely buy another. The LED by the trigger is handy in cabinets.

I have the 5 piece Dewalt 20v Max kit and use the crap out of it and it continues to impress me, but the hammer drill/driver and to a point the impact driver are a bit chunky and heavy, so I went on a search for something more compact. Seeing as how the 20v max charger will charge the 12v battery, buying this seemed like a no brainier. Both are very lightweight, built well and perform flawlessly. I tested the impact driver with a variety of screws and lag bolts and to be quite frank, it surprisingly drove everything the 20v MAX impact driver did, albeit a bit slower and with about half the runtime. The Drill/Driver was amazing as well.Also worth noting, these are actually 10.8 volt tools (Like all the rest of the subcompact tools available). Like other companies, Dewalt has fallen in-line and started going with MAX ratings. Meaning the batteries are only 12 volts when not under load. Audio companies have been doing this for years, so I guess it was only a matter of time before tool manufacturers started this practice. But don't let the rating fool you...They perform like nothing I've ever seen for this size and weight.NOTE: Amazon has the Impact Driver listed as 79 inch pounds of torque. This is a mistake. Its actually 79 FOOT pounds, which equates to 948 inch pounds. And I believe every word of it.IMPACT DRIVER: This thing has great ergonomics. Very balanced and feels good in the hand. Tool works as advertized. However, the locking pin is crazy stiff forcing you to pry off your socket. Nothing a file won't fix. The battery lasts for four too five cars (4wheels off; 4wheels on using a torque stick), by which time the other pack is charged. The only thing it can not handle are Domestic lugs on full size trucks, most of which are overtightened to 150-200 ft lbs. One of those trucks and the battery is zapped. Airwrench time. Very glad I bought it; have had it for two months, hopefully it will last a few years. We'll see.

Ive used all different brands of power tools in my profession, milwaukee always out performs, more torque and battery life and greater durability, I've submerged a milwaukee sawzall in dirty water and it continued to cut long after that, these are great tools.
