he Lasko Max Performance Pivoting Utility Fan offers rugged design and construction and a pivoting blower to direct its powerful air stream. It is ideal for garages and workshops and includes two accessory outlets.
So, I wanted to see what the value of this fan vs the smaller Lasko fans like this one: Lasko Pro Performance Blower Fan, 4900 or the Stanley brand ( same fan from what I read ). It is about 2 times the width of the 4900. It defn moves more air as a result. I *think* it moves air *faster*, but I don't know for sure, I don't have a precise tool to measure. I've just done the hand test - which one *feels* like it blows stronger?Like the smaller fan, it is quiet, moves a ton of air, has 3 speeds, has 2 10 amp plugs.Don't bother too much with the manufacturer's WordPress website. It is pretty sad. Some of the dimensions are conflicting from page to page, and just plain wrong. With their fans, it now seems that the higher model #'s are in fact larger fans. And Buddha forbid that they place a CFM measurement in with the specs.The only thing that could make this fan or it's smaller brothers poor is if it quit working some time near in the future.In the end, I'm not convinced that it is worth double the price of the 4900. It *does* seem to me that vs competing fans here on Amazon, that this model is a heck of a deal.

Neiko portable industrial fan blower is powerful, rated at 300 cubic feet per minute. It can be aimed in 4 different angles. Perfect for working in the garage, office, or shops. Standard 120V with a 12 amp motor, works with all AC/DC outlet. Built-in curcuit breaker with reset switch and a motor overload protection.
This unit works okay as an alternative to the original blue blower. It should be finefor ocassional home/garage use. Not sure how it would hold up to heavy duty use. Itmoves lots of air and that's what it is for. I'm satisfied with it.

I purchased this combo pack after reading every review on Amazon and several other sites for this package and several others. I could not be happier with my purchase!! I needed a kit to aid in the renovation of my new (to me) home. So far I have used the finish and brad nailers to install base board, shoe, and door casing, install a solid pine pre-hung door, and build a couple planters for my wife. These tools are definitely up for many jobs around the house. The finish nailer is plenty powerful and always buries the nail. The brad nailer needed a little adjusting to get the nails to fully seat themselves below the surface of the wood, but it is now functioning great as well. I haven't used the stapler yet, but I'm sure it'll work just like the others. The compressor is a little loud, but I expected that based on other reviews. Once pressurized it will sink brads for a long time and will probably bury 20-30 finish nails before it needs to pressurize again. Don't pass up this combo kit, it will meet your expectations!

I bought this jump starter to give to my husband for Christmas. However, today I made the mistake of letting my kids watch the DVD player in our minivan while I cleaned out the car. After about 20 minutes, I went to start the car and the engine would not turn over. We are new in town, I don't know anyone, my husband was 2 counties away, and I had to go pick up my daughter at kindergarten w/in 10 minutes. I could have called AAA, but I decided to unwrap the jump starter and give it a try, first. I was very nervous, as I had never tried to jump a car before, but the instructions were very easy. I was able to hook up the cables and start the car in less than 2-3 minutes. The battery still had a small charge--the interior lights were working, for ex., so I'm sure that helped. But this thing saved me from waiting forever for AAA, begging someone from my husband's office to pick up my daughter, and listening to my toddler scream for the duration. I am beyond thrilled, and am going to buy another for my husband, because this one's mine!

Compact and moves serious air. Low noise. Very directional air flow, great for venting a room quickly. The cord is massive and good length, almost half the weight of the unit. So you can run 2 power tools off the 2, 3 prong outlets on the main unit, assuming the wall outlet can take the power drain without tripping a fuse.Nice large handle.

Like one of the other reviewers I'm a mechanical engineer. I purchased this generator because I live along the east coast, though not in an area with many hurricanes, so I had time to conduct quite a bit of research before purchasing it. I work in the generator industry, though with larger generators, so I came into my search knowing more than many, but I was seriously disappointed in the amount of information available on the small gas engine generators. Most of these manufacturers are not using the web to provide enough information to differentiate their products from their competition or to really sell their products.My main criteria was: 1) Low fuel consumption 2) Good voltage regulation 3) High surge capacity. 4) Good engine with cast iron sleeves. 5) Potential reliability. Each of these is important for the following reasons.1) Fuel consumption - Generator burn quite a bit of fuel. This generator burns a little more than ½ gallon per hour at ½ load. If a hurricane knocked out my power and I ran my generator set for 10 hours a day, in a week I would need 35 gallons of fuel, or 7 five gallon cans. If you check FEMA and other sites they suggest planning for weeks without power and water after major hurricanes. This equates to quite a bit of fuel to store (fire hazard) and keep fresh (fuel should be cycled from storage every 3-6 months, maybe 9-12 if you use a fuel stabilizer/preservative) and quite an expense. This porter cable was more fuel efficient than most generators…
